Earlier today, I rose in the House of Commons to express my steadfast support for the Columbus Centre. I was honoured to be joined by a number of MPs, including the Honourable Judy Sgro, Francesco Sorbara, David Lametti, Michael Levitt, Adam Vaughan, and Filomina Tassi. Located in my riding, the Columbus Centre was built on the foundation of courage, hard work, and generosity. The community rightfully wishes to protect this cherished institution as it remains the heart of the Italian Canadian community in Toronto. Their views should be listened to and respected.
