MP Marco Mendicino delivers a speech about Federal Funding for Baycrest Health Sciences in Eglinton-Lawrence

Last Friday, I stood beside the Minister of Health and welcomed her to Eglinton-Lawrence as she announced $1.4 million in federal funding for the Canadian Centre for Aging & Brain Health Innovation at Baycrest Health sciences.

This $1.4 million will support the Spark Program at Baycrest, which will accelerate innovative solutions for mental health, dementia and Alzheimer’s.

I am a proud advocate for Baycrest Hospital in their brain health research and contributions to long term care, and am proud that our government is designating funds to address these new and emerging challenges in healthcare.
