Today I discussed this year’s Canada Summer Jobs Program which has created hundreds of thousands of jobs for Canadian youth across the country. Our government has doubled the amount of Canada Summer Jobs funding which employs many youth here in Eglinton-Lawrence. We look forward to another successful program this year!
Today I discussed with colleagues the importance of bringing our natural resources to market while ensuring that we protect the environment. Our government has created 157 conditions that must be met in order for Trans Mountain to be built which has been determined to be in the national interest.
